Peony & Tar Shampoo

Mellifora Peony & Pine Tar Shampoo is a hybrid shampoo designed for scalp prone to flakes, sensitivity, itching, or discomfort. Its formula combines saponified vegetable oils, a mild surfactant base, peony root, propolis, honey, herbs, and pine tar. Peony, bay laurel, rosemary, nettle, mallow, chamomile, olive leaves, calendula, and the other botanical ingredients create a formula with a strong herbal character, while pine tar gives it its distinctive identity and characteristic aromatic signature.

Compared to a purely traditional alkaline shampoo, its formula is 90% plant-based and milder in use thanks to the mild SLES surfactants. This makes it a more balanced option for those who want the traditional herbal approach, but not the stronger effect of a fully alkaline shampoo.

Peony & Pine Tar Shampoo is neither purely traditional plant-based nor completely neutral. Its characteristic pine tar scent is a natural part of its identity.

Directions for use:
