Herbal Beer Shampoo

Mellifora Beer Shampoo is a traditional plant-based shampoo with an alkaline pH, made with saponified oils and enriched with handcrafted unfiltered beer, honey, propolis, and selected herbs. It was created for those seeking deeper cleansing, a fresh feeling, and hair that looks more lively, lightweight, and full of body.

Its saponified plant-based base is combined with beer made from barley malt and hops, along with bay laurel, rosemary, lavender, St. John’s wort, nettle, chamomile, olive leaves, and calendula. The result is a formula with a rich botanical character, designed to cleanse the scalp effectively and leave the hair looking fuller, shinier, and more vibrant.

The presence of beer gives this shampoo its distinctive character, as beer has long been associated with hair care that offers body, vitality, and a better sense of density. It is especially suitable when the hair looks dull, flat, or in need of a shampoo with a stronger cleansing profile.

Like all handmade shampoos produced through the saponification of vegetable oils, it does not have a neutral pH. For this reason, on some hair types it may initially cause slight frizz or tangling, especially on long, colored, or more damaged hair. It usually performs best when combined with Mellifora’s conditioner-hair mask.

Directions for use:
Apply a small amount to wet hair, massage gently mainly onto the scalp, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed. For more complete care on the lengths, combine with a conditioner or hair mask.
