Herbal Peony Shampoo

The Mellifora Peony Shampoo is a traditional plant-based shampoo with an alkaline pH, made from saponified oils and enriched with peony and selected herbs for scalp prone to sensitivity, itching, or discomfort.

Peony root is combined with bay laurel, rosemary, elder, cedar, cypress, lavender, mallow, nettle, chamomile, and olive leaves, creating a formula with a rich botanical character. The shampoo cleanses the scalp effectively, leaves a fresh and clean feeling, and helps the hair look lighter, livelier, and fuller.

It is best suited for:

• scalp prone to itching or sensitivity
• oily or combination scalp
• short hair
• non-colored hair
• those who prefer traditional herbal shampoos with deeper cleansing action

Like all handmade shampoos produced through the saponification of vegetable oils, it does not have a neutral pH. For this reason, on some hair types it may initially cause slight frizz or tangling, especially on long, colored, or more damaged hair. It usually performs best when combined with Mellifora’s conditioner-hair mask.

Directions for use:
Apply a small amount to wet hair, massage gently mainly onto the scalp, and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if needed. For more complete care on the lengths, combine with a conditioner or hair mask.
